Imagine, Create, Lead
During the three day immersive course Imagine, Create, Lead, we explored the term pentimento which means “seeing and seeing again”. This concept was used to discover how creativity can impact a leader’s work and organizational effectiveness. We participated in classes that fostered imagination and creativity which helped us understand the lenses we wear that impact our ability to see. One of the sessions examined the history of Gonzaga and the Jesuits. One of their educational purposes is to help others break free from what limits their ability to see i.e. Pentimento
Artifact - One of my favorite pastimes is fly fishing so this artifact correlates with leadership principles that can be learned through fly fishing and the creative aspects of the sport. In the video you’ll see me tying flies and then using them on a trip in the Rockies.
