Organizational Theory and Behavior

Organizational Theory and Behavior introduced us to a deeper understanding behind the complexities of organizations and leading our organizations. During the course we examined organizational systems, structure, and strategy and we worked with a variety of our classmates using a variety of communication methods. We also learned how to effectively lead teams by understanding the design dynamics of groups, and we developed knowledge, skills, and abilities around understanding and changing organizational culture.

Artifact - A Leadership Parable is a short story meant to illustrate a lesson. We were assigned to read the parable and then compare and contrast the lessons therein with the lessons from the course. The final discussion board post was a collection of the truths that were found in both the reading and our course content.
